Lumin Vision Corp., a Korean specialist in LRADs (Long Range Acoustic Devices) with solutions approved by the US and Korean Army and Navy, has equipment installed at guard posts on the coastline for the Marine Corps of the Republic of Korea. To ensure the connection of its devices and broaden its broadcasting perimeter, Lumin Vision Corp. is looking for an interface between the control room and their long-distance warning broadcasting speaker.

Lumin’s home developed software ensures that sound quality is preserved for crystal clear broadcast, but also guarantees scalability and flexibility for every notification, alert or warning system.
Because these systems are fully integrated with Lumin Vision Corp.’s proprietary software, the retained interface should not only guarantee reliability and high audio quality, but mostly ensure a smooth and easy integration into their global suite.
THE SOLUTION
Digigram Asia, the Singapore-based provider of premier audio solutions recommends the use of simple, reliable, lightweight and sturdy BARIX encoder/decoders Annuncicom 100 and Exstreamer 100.
The validated workflow includes Annuncicom100 installed in every control room: they send the encoded IP messages to the decoder (Extreamer 100) installed on remote LRADs.
Exstreamer 100 are installed on every LRAD unit to decode IP audio. The device is equipped with USB/Micro SD flash interface and serial port, supports Internet Radio (AACplus, MP3, shoutcast, TCP streaming) and VoIP (SIP, RTP) codecs and protocols.
Both Annuncicom and Exstreamer are lightweight devices with a compact design.
